Watercolour Wings Sketch Challenge Card

For today’s sketch challenge card with Stamping&Blogging I used the new Watercolour Wings stamp set from Stampin’ Up!
Watercolour Wings from Stampin' Up!

I made a shaker card using the matching Butterfly thinlit dies.  I stamped teh butterfly on the white background. I cut the matching size butterfly using the thinlit die and added a piece of window sheet behind the die cut.  I used the edge strips from the dimensional sheets around the outside edge of the butterfly (on the underside) and then filled with sequins.
watercolour-wings from stampin upCan you see I used the cut out as part of the decoration on the inside of the card?

A little tip to stop the edges of the dimensionals adhering to the sequins is to dab the edges with the embossing buddy to remove any sticky residue, it works a treat!

I love the sentiment from the new Cottage Greetings stamp set and it was finished off with the stunning English Garden Designer series paper.

Here is this weeks sketch, why not give it a try yourself and post on the Sketch & Stamp page?
