Lots to Love Box from Stampin’ Up!

I used the Lots to Love Dies to make cute packaging to give my team a special gift for being invited to attend Centerstage. Centrestage is an event held every 6 months for Silver Elite titled and above titled Demonstrators.

As it is Stampin’ Up’s 30th anniversary year it was an 80’s theme and were were invited to dress up and celebrate!

I love fancy dress and it took no arm twisting to get me there dressed up in 80’s garb, wig an all!  It was a really fun night and I enjoyed being able to spoil my Silver Elite+ team members with a personalised gift.

I ordered business card holders with their name and gave them a voucher to order their own business cards to put inside.

I created the box using the Lots to Love Framelit Dies.  I am really sad that this item will not be carrying over into the new annual catalogue so if you like the Lots to Love dies and matching stamp set, I’d encourage you to get it now before it sells out or is retired.

I made the box and cut out the heart using the Lots to Love Framelit Dies and heart embossed the design around the heart in gold embossing powder.

It was a fun night and it got us in the party mood for the OnStage event to be held the next day where Stampin’ Up! Inspire, recognise and reward us as well as share the new annual catalogue with us.  It is a great day filled with ideas and inspiration whilst all getting whipped into a frenzy about the new product coming our way.

OnStage UK 2018

As we are the Pinkies, lots of us wore Pink Sweatshirts which made recognising our team so much easier.  These events are held every 6 months and its a wonderful chance to celebrate crafting with like minded, fun, kind and lovely people.

I can home tired but my heart was so happy.  So many fun times with these wonderful teamies.  If you love to craft and would like the chance to share your love of your hobby whilst meeting the loveliest bunch of ladies with chances to meet up and have loads of fun, then I would love to welcome you to my team.  Click the starter kit tab at the top and have a read of the information and the faq and please get in touch if you have questions.

My next event is a team weekend in Birmingham in June.  We spend 2 days crafting, shopping and just hanging out together.

If you would like to get your hands on the Lots to Love Bundle before its too late, simply click the image below to go direct to my online shop and place an order.  If you spend over £20+ please use the monthly hostess code to receive a free thank you gift.  Please do not use if you spend £150+ as you will be giving me your stampin rewards and we don’t want that to happen!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend with some sunshine.  I think we need to cut our grass for the 1st time since we lived here!

Hug in a Mug from Stampin’ Up!

Who likes hot chocolate?  Then I have the perfect stamp set for you!  Hug in a Mug from Stampin’ Up! is a really cute and you can make up your mug with different elements to personalise it.

Hug in a Mug From Stampin' Up!

I stamped the mug onto watercolour paper using StazOn so that I could watercolour the mug and add detail using the cute little stamps in this set to customise your mug.  I also used the stitched shape framelits to cut a circle around my stamped image and then sponged the edges using Blushing Bride Ink.

I used my aqua painter to add the base of the mug to ground it rather than leave it floating.

The gorgeous scallop circle framelits were used to cut a Smoky Slate Mount. I just love the pink and grey colour combo.

I punched a hole and tied the tag to a treat tube which was filled with hot chocolate powder.  Those treat tubes are so versatile and can be used for so many things.

Diagonal opening Gift Box

I saw a gift box on Pinterest and knew instantly I wanted to have a go.  I am not very good at following instructions and am more of a by eye/trial and error kind of a girl and this Diagonal opening Gift Box is the result.

Gift Box using Tags & Trimmings

I am so happy with how it turned out.

The happiness starts when you open it……

Tags & Trimmings Box Open made by Michelle Last

Love that pop of colour and how neat it closes.

I decorated the top of the box with the lovely modern holly stamp and diagonal stripe tag and a circle cut with the stitched shape framelit dies.

I also added the ‘It’s Inside that counts’ sentiment on the inside of the box lid for an added surprise.

I don’t have instructions or measurements to make this box, it really is a one off for me but if you google diagonal opening box you will see lots of other examples, video’s and helpful measurements.

Give it a try!

The products I used are all from Stampin’ Up! and available from my online shop, click any of the images below to  go direct to that item in my shop and add to your basket.

Popcorn Box Thinlits from Stampin’ Up!

This week over at the Global Design Project we have a theme challenge and the theme is Amusement Park!

Honestly I was stumped, there is one obvious stamp set in the seasonal catalogue which would be a perfect choice but I don’t own it (shock horror – I don’t own everything you know!) so I had to think outside the box.

Then I thought Popcorn box, you eat popcorn at amusement parks, yes that is it, please tell me I own the Popcorn Box Thinlit dies.  Thankfully I do and this is this weeks project…

Isn’t it cute!  Why have I not made these for ages?  I just want to make popcorn boxes and eat popcorn all day!

I love the diagonal stripe designer series paper and added some flowers from the Jar of Love bundle to accent the popcorn label.

So let’s all pop on over to the Global Design Project to see what the other design team members have made and hopefully inspire you to join the challenge this week and share your project with us.

If you wish to order the supplies I have used to create this project or any others, simply click the order now button in the top right or click any of the images below to go direct to my online shop.

If you place an order for £20+ please use the monthly hostess code to receive a free thank you gift from me and for every £45 you spend you can choose a free sale-a-bration item but only till the end of March – don’t miss out, there are no guarantee’s that all the freebies will be available as we reach the end of the promotion.
