Team Reward Day with Michelle Last

I think I’ve told you before that I have the most amazing team.  That is why I held a Team Reward Day for my direct team members to craft, share and inspire one another the day before OnStage.  We met at a local cafe/restaurant and had afternoon tea, fun, games and some crafting as well as an amazing raffle!

It can be a bit crazy at the OnStage event with so many excited people that I love the chance to get together with my direct team to spoil them and reward them for sticking with me.

Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers

This is my first colouring attempt with the Stampin’ Blends.  I am a novice colourer but so happy to have a new colouring medium to enhance my crafting.

I made a card to recognise an amazing accomplishment by one of my team.  My team member Sam Hammond reached her 600,000 CSV sales milestone.  That means she has sold LOTS of Stampin’ Up! products.

Stampin' Blends from Stampin' Up!

I made an eclipse card using the newly introduced Color Me Happy Stamp set.

How I made the Eclipse card
  • I drew a line to attach the lanterns to using the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Markers.
  • I stamped the lanterns from the Color Me Happy stamp set with Memento Black Ink at different heights.
  • I began to colour each lantern using the new Stampin’ Blends.  I coloured a small area with the darker shade and then used the small nib of the lighter shade to blend and combine both shades.  (There are some great video tutorials shared below).
  • I then used the sentiment from This LIttle Piggy which says – She believed she could… and so she did and masked and stamped in the top left and bottom right corner.
  • I used the Numbers for You Die set to cut out the 600,000 and then stuck the numbers back in place with dimensionals to raise them up.
  • A final flourish of sequins and my card was complete 🙂

Numbers for You Eclipse Card

Sam and I recently took a little shopping trip to Bicester Village and more specifically the Michael Kors shop so I picked out a lovely new purse to match one of the bags she bought.  She so deserved to be spoiled.

So if you fancy trying out the new Stampin’ Blends, be sure to watch these videos from Stampin’ Up! If you place an order via my online shop be sure to add the monthly hostess code to receive a free thank you gift when spending £20+

Team Promotion Gifts from Stampin’ Up!

I have an amazing team of demonstrators around me.  I have been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator for nearly 10 years and there is nothing I like more than to reward and recognise my team.  All my team are valued and play a role in our team and when its time to make something pretty to reward them that makes me happy.

I recently took a trip to Frankfurt which is where the Stampin Up European head office based.  I have been holding a team training program to help people reach a specific title and the reward for reaching that title whilst being in the program was to visit the Head Office and Warehouse with me and Sam Hammond.

Silver Elite Pillow Gift

I had never visited the head office before and it was a treat for me as much for the lovely Katy, Amanda and Sophie and we had a blast!  I wanted to give the girls a pillow gift and a memento to remember their achievement and I decorated the boxes with the Labels to Love stamp set in the seasonal catalogue.

Silver Elite Pillow Gifts

I stamped the green flourish using a stampin write marker so that I did not stamp the ‘Give Thanks’ greeting.  I then stamped ‘Celebrate a wonderful year’ in the centre.  I heat embossed the word celebrate in silver embossing powder and cut around it and raised it up with small dimensionals.

The keyring had a star on the front because all the girls are little stars and on the reverse is says ‘ you are capable of amazing things’ because they truly are!

And finally I added a little note with Best Decision Ever on it and a personal message on the back from me and Sam.

So do you want to see what we got up to on our trip to Frankfurt?

We all flew in from different airports to Frankfurt and arrived at our hotel for a lovely dinner and a few cocktails before what was supposed to an early night!

Early the next morning we headed our to the Stampin Up warehouse which is approx 15 minutes from the offices of Stampin’ Up! and had a look around and saw how they pick pack and deliver our lovely Stampin’ Up! goodies.

Silver Elite Frankfurt Visit

We had a chance to sign any packages going out to fellow demo’s and teamies which was lovely when a couple of days later people were saying they loved receiving their goodies with a hand written note.

There were rows and rows of products and it was incredible to see how they orders are picked.  Check out the bottom right of the top collage to see several orders being picked on the automated picking line.  The staff were lovely and very patient with us whilst we kept getting in the way. The lovely Silvana was our lovely warehouse host and did a wonderful job.

Next stop was the head office where the demo support, accounts, support staff and business development managers are based.  I have spoken to demo support lots in the last 10 years but never have I actually seen where they work and its so much nicer now that I can picture where they are!

Stampin Up Head Office Visit

At the head office there is a whole room dedicated to being creative!  In those tall cupboards there are rows and rows of supplies and stamp sets, it was like being a kid in a sweet shop!  Our three little achievers went mad for the door mat!

We had a lovely lunch and made a lovely little album so we even got to craft too!  Such a lovely experience and such a fun reward.

PS Don’t tell anyone but this is supposed to be ‘work’!

It was a whistle stop tour and over far too quickly but the memories will last a long long time!

The products I used to make the gift are listed below, if this set takes your fancy there is a matching punch available too – happy shopping!

Large Letter Dies from Stampin’ Up!

I had the most lovely job of creating some cards for my team members who have earned the Stampin’ Up! Incentive trip to Alaska in 2018.  I used the Large Letter Dies and matching stamp set Letters For You both available from Stampin’ Up!

Large Letters Framelits from Stampin' Up!

I created a long thin card case and printed off a picture of the Alaska landscape and wrapped a piece of vellum over it to mute the background down a little.

I then stamped and die cut the word Alaska using the Letters for You and Large Letter Dies.  These dies are a big investment but oh so useful and a really great addition to your craft stash.  Imagine how easy it would be to create projects to celebrate those milestone birthdays and anniversaries.

If you have any new additions to your family its is great to be able to spell out the name of the new baby for a gift or home decor piece.

Each year I buy some silver charms which fit a Pandora style bracelet which match the destination of the incentive trip.  This year is a polar bear and I hope that over the years my lovely downline will be able to build up a lovely collection of charms to remind them of some fabulous trips they have earned and the experiences they have had.

Alaska team incentive trip celebration card 2018

So proud of you Jenny McCormac and Lisa Cornwall.  What fun we are going to have next July 🙂

I am super proud of the amazing women in my team and all their acheivements, what a lovely job I have to be able to celebrate them!

It was great fun to create a card with a background based on the destination, why not try it?

If you would like to place an order for the stamps or dies used in this project, they are available in my online shop.

If you are able to invest in a larger order and earn some Stampin’ Rewards you could use towards these items or if you host a party or can place an order with a sales total of £400 you can choose anytime for HALF PRICE.

Imagine getting these dies for £44.50 instead of £89.  If you are ever unsure on how to get the best deal or wish to book a party or event please get in touch as I am here to help.
