Birthday Delivery from Stampin’ Up!

Today I am sharing a perfect kids/children’s card made using the Birthday Delivery stamp set from Stampin’ Up!

Lovely bright colours and a fancy fold too, what’s not to love all for the Global Design Project theme challenge.

Birthday Delivery from Stampin' Up!

Everything about this card is bright fun and energetic just like the 4 year old who I sent it to!

I heat embossed the greeting from Birthday Delivery with Silver Embossing Powder.  I hand cut the presents from the matching Birthday Memories patterned paper.  The greetings in the Birthday Memories stamp set are designed to fit inside the flag/banner that Mr Fox is waving.

This bundle is so clever as the dies are designed to cut out the characters on the patterned paper as well as the stamped images – so versatile!

I created the tab closure with the envelope punch board and when you open it……

The paper insert is attached to the top fold and moves up and down as you open and close the card 🙂

I really hope you join in with this weeks challenge and make a card for the kids in your family.  Simply pop on over to the Global Design Project to see what the other design team members have made using the same theme and see instructions on how to enter your own card to be in with a chance of being the weekly winner!

Handmade Wondrous Wreath Stampin’ Up! Christmas Card

Here is a handmade Christmas card I made using the Wondrous Wreath stamp set and matching framelits from Stampin’ Up!
wondrous wreath-garland christmas card

I love how the wreath stamp can be used in so many different ways including a swag/garland! I had to make the card extra long to add the garland and I made an envelope to fit using the envelope punch board.

We made this at my monthly technique class, we make 3 beautiful cards and you can attend in person or choose the Class to Go to make in the comfort of your own home.  I send links to three comprehensive videos showing you step by step how to make the cards and post all the supplies needed (cardstock and embellishments) to make the card.  Everything is cut and scored and you can substitute stamps and inks for ones  you have at home if you don’t have the supplies I use.  Check out my class schedule in the tabs at the top as I would love you to join me at a class (or class to go) in the future.

Have you started your Christmas cards yet?  It feels like Christmas is way off yet as the weather has been so mild but a little sneak at the calendar tells me that I need to get cracking and get making so if like me you need to get a move on, pop on over to my online shop and order your supplies so you are all ready to make a start!  Have a great day x

Envelope Punch Board by Stampin Up!

I had a birthday party of a lovely friend at the weekend and we were all asked to take along a funny story to share.  I thought this was such a lovely idea, I made a personalised envelope using the envelope punch board and the Flowering flourishes stamps from Stampin’ Up!

I made the envelope using some black cardstock and stamped and embossed the beautiful swirls from Flowering Flourishes in gold embossing powder.  I then cut her name using gold cardstock and the very versatile Perfect Print Alphabet Bigz Die. Inside was a decorated card with my memory and a photo of the very funny evening we had together!

I simply tied the envelope closed with the Crushed Curry Chevron ribbon and attached to the beautiful flower arrangement.

Such a lovely lady, such a great evening and lots of lovely memories too!

It’s been a bit non stop here this last 4-5 days.  Amy and Dom both did great in their exams, they both got their first choice Uni and School places, Dom’s is deferred for a year and Amy will start sixth form in September at the same school.  Pips paw is much much better and she is back to her old ways.  Two extra doggies {we were looking after a friends two Westies} we very well behaved and Pip loved walking with them so all in all it was a great last week!

Hope you had a great bank holiday weekend too!
