40th Birthday Card for #GDP102

This week at the Global Design Project we have a sketch challenge and I have made a 40th Birthday Card using the Number of Years stamp set from Stampin’ Up!

Letters for You from Stampin Up

It was my beautiful cousin’s 40th birthday and I wanted to make a special card for her.  The number of years stamp set is a brilliant set for any milestone birthdays you are celebrating.

The stamp set has matching dies which makes cutting out the numbers a breeze!

I added a little string of linen thread around the base of the back part of the card and made the front a little shorter.

I also added a washi tape edging to the white card front and some enamel dots.

The greeting on the front is just perfect for my cousin Nichola.  She is just a blessing to our family.  She makes us all smile and I was delighted to be able to celebrate her birthday with her and my family.  She even had the biggest helium balloon I have have seen with her name on it!

Love her!

Here is the inside of the card….

Large Number Framelits from Stampin Up

I have been busy making cards for my team of Stampin Up Demo’s.  Whilst it is quieter over the summer and I get a chance to play catch up I got busy making over 100 cards to recognise my team on their Stampin’ Anniversary.  It is a wonderful thing to be part of Stampin Up and it needs to be celebrated when you hit a milestone!

Team Anniversary Cards

I got the idea from Jessica Witty and used my Stampin Up supplies to create an abundance of Anniversary cards.  I used our Kraft cardstock which is super rigid which gave the card a really sturdy feel.  I cut out the number and use that to make a tag (nothing goes to waste!).  I then backed the die cut number with some pretty Stampin Up patterned paper and topped it withe anniversary banner from the Number of Years Stamp set.

I wasn’t sure which way to stamp/mount the banner so I tried both ways.  Which do you think works best?

I add to add some pink cardstock edging and it also need a little sponging around the edges, believe me that is a lot of sponging once all the cards were complete.

I also included a little gift of Stampin Up product as a thank you for choosing me as their team leader.

Such a great feeling when they were all complete and posted out.  And I still have more to send for the rest of the year too!

Number of Years from Stampin’ Up!

How lucky I am to be able to be sending a 100th Birthday Card! I used the wonderful Number of Years Stamp set and matching Large Number Dies and embossed them in gold embossing powder.

Our wonderful neighbour Winnie is the special lady who turned 100, she lives independently in our close and is also bright and cheery when you walk past.

Such an easy card to make but with a real WOW with 100 on the front!

All the supplies I used to make the card are listed below, click the images to go directly to my online shop to order your own and for every £45 you spend  you can choose a free item but only till the end of March.

#GDP024 using Number of Years from Stampin’ Up!

This week the Global Design Project are casing one of my very own cards!  How cool is that?  I needed to make an 18th Birthday card for a special person and decided to make a shaker card using the sketch and the Number of Years Stamp set and matching dies.

I absolutely love the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper too so that inspired me on what colours to use.
#GDP024 Number of Years Shaker CardI used the sequins from the Love Blossoms Embellishments Kit and on the inside I used the Party Pop Up Thinlit Dies, except I did not make them pop up!

And I used the silver glitter tape which is lush and free during sale-a-bration on the inside of the card and layered the die cut over the top with some added sequins….

Birthday card made using Balloon Celebration & Number of Years from Stampin’ Up!

I am sharing a card from last months technique class today using the Balloon Celebration stamp set and the Number of Years stamp set.  I am getting ahead as this is a card for my son in July when he turns 20 which is why I have used tones of blue and green.

Birthday Balloon Celebration using Stampin Up supplies

I just love the speckled stamp in the Balloon Celebration stamp set as it adds shading to the balloons and adds detail and definition. Love the inside too!

Balloon Celebration Birthday Card using Stampin Up products

I cannot stop using the Number of Years stamp set and matching framelits.  I have never owned a stamp set or dies which fit a card perfectly when celebrating a milestone birthday, until now that is!
