Sealed with Love made using Stampin Up Stamps

I am sharing a quick and simple card made using the Sealed with Love Stamp set and matching die bundle from Stampin Up.  I adore the little envelope and arrow die and I used the matching double sided paper stack to coordinate the elements to make it all match.

There are so many elements of the stamp set and die set which means you have so many options when creating your cards.  I especially love the arrow die and the envelope die with the matching notecard – just adorable!

Flurry of Wishes from Stampin’ Up!

I am delighted to tell you that my mojo turned up again yesterday!  It may be a brief visit but it was lovely to have it back on board!  I have so many lovely new seasonal products to use and there are definitely some favourites which I cannot stop using including Flurry of Wishes!  The new seasonal catalogue launches on 1st September but if you would like a copy sent in the post, please drop me an email with your address (michelle@cbdesign.org.uk)

So today’s share is my last Stamping&Blogging weekly sketch challenge.  Sandi and Heather have decided to stop the weekly sketch and will take this inside the stamping&blogging website for its members.

I want to thank Sandi & Heather for inviting me to join in.  It took some arm twisting as I really wasn’t sure I could commit to a weekly sketch but I am so glad I did.  I have met so many lovely new people and had lots of visit to my blog and for that I am really thankful.

I seem to have caught the bug too as I will be joining a new challenge website called the Global Design Project and it starts on 7th September so what my blog for more details coming soon.

Flurry-of-Wishes-Stampin-UpI so enjoyed making this card!  I used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp to create snow in the sky and heat embossed it with white embossing powder and ink graduated blue ink to create the nights sky background.

I then stamped the tress from the new stamp set Wonderland (another firm favourite) and stamped the beautiful snowflakes (from Flurry of Wishes)  in the background.

I think did some fancy stamping with the sentiment using my Stampamajig ensuring that the sentiment was in the correct place on both layers.  It did take two attempts so I was really pushing my mojo at this point!

And I even stamped the inside to match…
Flurry-of-Wishes-Stampin-Up5I just love the new cording trim and I’m pretty sure you will love it too!

Here is the sketch we used –

Wild about Flowers from Stampin’ Up!

I decided to break open a new set called  Wild about Flowers from Stampin’ Up!

Wild About Flowers from Stampin Up

It is a really pretty set with some great sentiments included too so I set to work stamping the flower stems in smoky slate ink and then embossing the flower heads in silver embossing powder. When I cut out the rectangle with the squares collection framelits, I sponged around the inside of the die with marina mist ink to create a cream border.

The chevron is a cute clipboard I got from WHSmith recently but the blue dotty paper is from the new Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper.  I added a lovely punch of colour with Daffodil delight and finished it off with a silver foiled greetings thinlit word.  A bit more bling courtesy of the silver glimmer paper and it was complete!

Don’t you love the cute clipboard!  It was in the sale too!

Handmade Wedding Card using Stampin’ Up! Supplies

I an excited to share this simple but elegant handmade wedding card with you.  I just love it, I adore the delicate vellum flowers and the font of the greeting.
A Perfect Day from Stampin' Up!

I struggled to get a good photo as there is a a lot of reflective materials in this card and no matter which way I photographed it I could not get it to be as lovely as it really is in real life.
A Perfect Day from Stampin' Up!

I did sneak in a little retired flower punch or two, I just love the little retired Itty Bitty Punches, they will need to be prized from my hands if I was to ever part with them…

I stamped the wreath and hand cut around it.  I did cut an aperture for the sentiment but decided that was unnecessary so modified it slightly for when we make it at my monthly technique class.  The mat for the card is the silver foil cardstock.

I heat embossed the greeting with silver embossing powder and add a pearl or two.  Pretty simple and plain but all the better for it I think.

There are some great weekly deals and also new items have been added to the clearance rack so be sure to check out my online shop, simply click the images below to go direct to my online shop.

It is a beautiful day here today, Spring has finally sprung.  The extension is coming along and we are super excited and also nervous as our son Dominic (he is 18) is off travelling on Tuesday for 3 months!!!

Lots of family time planned for the weekend and I will get back to you next week with more from my little world.
