On the twelth day of Christmas…………
I decided to make something for the little ones at Christmas. I have been busy making table decorations and treats for the adults so todays idea should help to keep the younger children in your life happy.
I have used Elizabeth Shaw chocolates as a little sweet treat for the centre of these but you could use anything and these would be great stocking fillers too.
As this project needs lots of punches and we have come to our last day of offers I thought I would go out with a bang! So place an order with me today and for every three punches you order you will receive the cheapest one free so if you were savvy you could save yourself £15.50 !! Thank you all to everyone who has visited my blog and left lovely comments. I have really enjoyed doing the 12 days of Christmas and would love it if you came back regularly as I will be posting lots of photo's of cards that I have made, they wont be Christmas related necessarily but I hope they will inspire you nonetheless.
So here is todays inspiration –
Santa and Rudolf
Here are the pieces you will need to create Santa
Scallop circle, 1 3/8" circle, scallop square, word window, boho blossoms, 1/2" circle punches and small circles for eyes from crop-o-dile or just use a pen.
Using a scallop circle, 1 3/8" circle and boho blossoms punches create the following –
I punched the nose with the 1/2" circle punch and shaded the edges using a light pink and stuck it on with a dimensional. I then trimmed off the bottom section of the scallop square.
Then stick on the eyes (easier said than done with my chubby fingers) and stick the word window punch to the front of the hat and secure on Santa's head.
Using another scallop circle and glue dots stick the chocolate to the centre of the scallop circle and stick Santa to the top.
And this is him complete – cute eh?
Now for Rudolf………
Oval Extra Large, 5 petal flower, 1/2" circle, 1/4" circle, boho blossoms, 2-step bird punch and small circles for eyes from crop-o-dile or just use a pen.
Here is the oval punch with the flower from boho blossoms for hair and the 1/2" circle punch for a nose, I raised the nose up on a dimensional on the finished one. I then cut out a 5 petal flower and removed one petal and the two bottom ones and discarded them. He is keeping an eye on you in this photo……..
Trim of the excess to leave a little bit of Rudolf's hair and then stick the ears in place on the back of the head.
All that is left to do is stick on branches for antlers and put on his eyes. Secure the choccie with glue dots and he is all ready.
This would be a great thing to do with the kids once they break up from school.
Have a great day and thanks again for stopping by, come back soon x
