The time for the new Stampin’ Up catalogue is fast approaching (1st October) and Stampin’ Up have released the retired list for the current catalogue. Lots of items are going including patterned paper so if any of the items are your favourites, get your hands on them now as once they are gone they are gone! The link above will take you to the current list of retired items available and will be updated as the items sell out – be quick as some of the items are cheaper than previously too as per Stampin’ Up’s new pricing policy outlined below.
Stampin’ Up has evaluated their product pricing and as a result, pricing for several products of both stamp sets and accessories, will be lower. In addition, several stamp sets in the new catalogue will be die-cut, which means that you just need to punch stamp images out of the rubber instead of cutting them out themselves. Great news, I think you will agree! I have seen some of the new stamps and can’t wait to show then to you all. It’s a great time to book up a workshop in anticipation of the new catalogue release.
All current hostess stamps sets will no longer be available when the new catalogue is launched. But there is still time to get your hands on them. Just book and hold a workshop in September (or make sales over £150+) and choose your favourite for the last time.
The card above was made using the seeing spots set and the scallop nestabilities die cuts. The ‘love you’ greeting was made using the Alphabits Stamp set which is being retired. I love this set and would recommend grabbing this whilst you can. It is offered on the retired list for the reduced price of £13.95 and the 1/4" square punch fits perfectly around the letters to cut them out (£3.95). I stamped the letters using versamark and embossed them using gold embossing powder. It’s such a fun way of adding the greeting of your choice to a card or scrapbook project.
