It mentions on p.19 of the mini catalogue that using the Stampin Up Scallop Border Punch you can create scallops along a curved edge (as per the photo) or even on a larger circle and to ask your demonstrator how, so thanks to Gill for asking, here goes –
Scallop a thin piece of cardstock to the desired length which will fit the circumference of the shape you want to scallop.
Then using a sharp pair of scissors cut from the straight edge up towards the valley of the scallop but NOT ALL THE WAY. Continue until you have cut along the entire length of scallops needed. (Click the photo to see an enlargement).
Then twise slightly the straight edge so that it overlaps the one next to it. The more you overlap the tighter and smaller the scallop you will get.
Happy scalloping!! Border punches are £10.95 and if you order between 22nd-24th April you wont have to pay shipping charges. Call me on 07905 653353
