Hey girls! Hope you had a good Easter! It was nice to chill and relax for 4 whole days but I am now ready to get on with some work and more specifically some crafting.
The reason I have to get busy is that I am holding an Open House in honour of the new mini catalogue which launched on 1st April. It is on Thursday 30th April from 9am – 9pm and you are welcome to come over anytime between 9 and 9. I will have 4 make and takes that are free of charge and you are welcome to stay and do them all. There will be lots of ideas and samples on display as well as prizes and incentives. It's my way of thanking my existing customers and welcoming new ones. If you need directions or any more information please get in touch via email on michelle@cbdesign.org.uk You do not need to book and please bring along a friend or two. For anyone who cannot attend I am offering free p&p on any order placed with me between April 22nd-April 24th no minimum amount just a little thank you for reading my blog.
I also went to Scrapfever a couple of weekends ago and had a blast. I made the little album shown in the photo above in a class called '100 eyelets or die trying' which turned out beautifully. Now all I need is to find the photos to go in it!
As the weather has been rather Spring like and thoughts of sitting in the garden with a glass of wine during the long summer evenings doesn't seem too far away I decided to use some of my Stampin Up rub-ons in a rather unusual way. I had a candle tealight holder made of glass and thought how pretty it would look with a design on it. So I set to work with some of the rub ons available from Stampin Up which I love as they come in brown as well as the usual black and also white and I am much more of a brown girl. You get two sheets of each in black and white or brown and white for £7.50 per pack and the designs are just beautiful. It is so easy to get the rub ons to stay on glass or any non-porous surface – the possibilites really are endless so don't feel you can only use them on you card and scrapbook pages.
Hope to see you at the Open House, get the date on the calendar now………
Love the tealight holder – really effective. Open house sounds like great fun 🙂 xx
