12 Days Of Christmas – Day Five crafty ideas for Christmas

On the fifth day of Christmas……………

I created a table gift for all the men in our lives.  I have stuck with the same theme of blues and browns to match my decor and used the beautiful and most popular patterned paper Elegant Soiree.

This time I have made a box to hold some After Eight mints, I was inspired to make this when I received a swap from one of my downline  Peg at one of our quarterly training events.  It is really easy to make and I have included step by step photos to make your own but I have not included measurements as your contents may be a different size so you can adapt it to suit your contents.

You need to wrap a piece of cardstock around the contents horizontally so that it is open at the top and bottom.

Then cut a piece of patterned paper and wrap around the inner vertically.  Glue the front and back of the inner to the patterned paper.  Border punch a piece of cardstock and stick to the inside of the patterned paper so that it shows on the outside.

Stamp a bauble and stick to the front of the box but make sure that you only stick at the bottom of the bauble so that you can tuck the flap behind the bauble to keep the lid closed.

Using a circle punch cut out a half circle on the front of the box to make it easy to remove the contents.
