Did you think I had gone missing in action? We I have been knocked sideways by this new little dog. It's like having a new baby and I feel like I don't get a moment for anything!! I know it will settle down and perhaps in another week I may be able to live some kind of normal life again 🙂
She is super sweet though and learning our rules and my husband is back tonight and he is on dog watch for the next four days!!
So here is a card I made using the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set (£25.95) from Stampin Up. Most people overlook this set as the sentiments are all based on illness or loss and who wants to think about that but honestly it is a great set and really versatile too. I dont know if you recognised the tree in the Longfellows card I made for the dog owner, that was from the Thoughts and Prayers set and the branch is perfect fo so many occasions.
We all have to send cards at difficult times and these sentiments are just right. I made this card for a dear friend who has lost his mum, so sad but I hope that the card I sent let them know I was thinking of them.
I used the spritzer tool £9.95 (my new favourite) to give the background a dotty effect and coloured the branch and flowers using the markers.
You only have four more days to place an order over £45 to grab one of the FREE sale-a-bration stamp sets as once the end of February comes they will no longer be avaiable so what you waiting for?? I look forward to hearing from you…..
Very pretty.
Love it!!! Simply beautiful …. and beautifully simple!! 😀 x
