Here is the card I have made for my mum for Mothers Day on Sunday. I needed something special and thought I would try something different for a change. I saw this and fell in love with it straight away. The stamp Leslie used was not from Stampin Up and so I searched my ever expanding stamp collection for a set I could use.
The set I decided on is Happiness Shared and I had to use the Stamp-a-majig to reposition the rose three times. I am normally a simple stamper and rarely use my aqua painter or my blender pens, in fact I owned my blender pens for 2 years before even using them!! But with a little play I managed to create this card. Of course its not as beautiful as Leslie's but I was pleased with it for my first attempt. I actually picked up speed and managed to make three as it's my mum-in-laws birthday in a few weeks and I am sure she will love the flowers and it also means I have one to keep as a sample.
Here is a little close up, my coluring in isn't top notch but pretty good for me 🙂
Only two more days until the new mini launch, I have posted copies to some of my customers but come back on 1st April as there will be an on-line to copy to view right away.
See you Friday…………… (Finally I can actually share what I have been creating for the last month!!!)
What a beautiful card for your mum. I have two cards to make for Mothers Day … did have something in mind but nothing as nice as yours, so change of plans ahead & I’ll copy yours if that’s OK? (With a few minor adjustments as I don’t have the Happines Shared stamp set but will substitute the Growing Green set instead!) Hopefully, should look OK!?!
Hi Michelle,
Enjoyed the craft morning this morning. Would have been even better if i hadn’t put my newly made card inside the catalogue i gave you back 😉
Nice card Michelle your mum will love it. What about poor MIL doesn’t she get one?????????
By the way Leslie who? It would be nice to see her card too.
See you next week
