I just love this set and I held a class last night and we made 3 cards using the set. I will be posting in the coming days the cards we made but I wanted to mention some of the things we talked about last night. If you are considering buying this set, my preference would be for a wood mount set, simply because it is easier to use with a stamp-a-majig and also there are 18 stamps in this set and lots of little pieces that could easily fall out of the DVD case and get lost.
Some of the images I have got used to free hand stamping without the need for a stamp-a-majig so I would encourage you to have a practice as it can be done. But some images are easier to line up than others so you will find yourself reaching for your stamp-a-majig frequently. So to save time I stamped the sets of images onto the thick window sheet with black staz on ink. I store the mini squares in the lid of the stamp set in a cello bag so it saves me having to re-stamp each image every time and all I need to do is line it up with the T and stamp the design in the desired colour of ink.
Don't forget to always keep your cheat sheet handy, mine stays in the box and I posted a link to it in my previous post if you would like your own.
And this is what all my window sheets look like. I promise that these little steps will make your life so much easier!!
Baby Blossoms in Wood is £26.95 and if you would like to order a set please don't hesitate to get in touch. Come back tomorrow for another card using Baby Blossoms…..
