This is the second card we made at Technique class this month. I did case this idea when I was blog hopping but I have searched and searched to find the source and cannot find the clever person who made it, so my apologies 🙂
We stamped the raspberry image using Stampin Write Markers in Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler and Melon Mambo on to Very vanilla cardstock. We inked the edges in river rock and then embossed the very vanilla sheet using the square lattice embossing folder. We stamped the birds and the for you sentiment onto a piece of river rock which was placed underneath a bevelled window pane. It was then mounted onto cherry cobbler and rose red seam binding was threaded through the window panes and secured round the back of the very vanilla rectangle.
The bow was actually tied seperately and then stuck on with a glue dot, so much easier and neater too!
I am looking for ladies to participate in my marker share, I only need two ladies and you would need to spend £23.73 a month for four months in total (inc p&p). Every month you will receive a set of markers in one of the four colour families and on one of the months you will receive the storage box to keep them in which stores the markers horizontally so that the ink does not flow to one end of the marker with a colour grid so that you know which pen is which. You can also choose to spend a little extra on your hostess month and get the hostess benefits. I would love you to join us and please don't hesitate to let me know if you may be interested.
So one final idea tomorrow using the Clearly for you set and it is something a little different from a card this time!!
See you then x
Michelle – found your blog whilst looking at stampin up goodies on the web! Would love to participate in your marker share. Could you let me know what is required from me.
Thanks
