we have the BEST time! It was our quarterly meet up last Sunday and members of our team come from all over the UK to spend a day together, create, share and have fun. It was such a wonderful day, I am so lucky to have a great team of helpful and supportive demo's that make organising this event a pleasure. We have Stampin Up demo's from other teams joining us as well as customers and friends sharing in the fun too…….
There are four inspiration stations where a demo showcases specific product or technique and inspires us with all the ideas and samples they have brought along. Anja focused on masculine cards and metal. She triple embossed cardstock and embossed it and it really looked like metal. She also showed us how to use cans to create bottle covers for great male gifts. What a clever thing!! And so effective; thank you Anja.
Next up was Dawn, check out here blog here. She filled her table with 3D items and showed us how to make flowers using the ornament punch and gift bows. Such a clever lady and a complete over achiever, she was worried her table would look rubbish!!! Does it look rubbish to you, I didn't think so :-)
How cute is this picture frame with lots of lovely owl characters??? Th every talented Claire had a wonderful table filled with inspiration on how to use the owl punch. Check out Claire's blog here. She made a wonderful flower using the owl punch, you would have never guessed that owls had anything to do with it….. My photo of this project did not turn out in focus so if you got to Claire's blog I am sure she will be posting photos too.
We all do half an hour of several techniques that made you go WOW!! Well these little beauties certainly did that. Mock crocodile with embossing from Nicole, Coke cans flowers from Claire and a beautiful rose from Catherine using a star template and seam binding.
And here is one of the make and takes from the day – isn't it gorgeous?
Go to Gill's blog here to see photos up close as it really is so beautiful. Thank you Gill for a wonderful project and for all your hard work in creating it for us and the instructions too.
I will be back in the next few days with some more photo's from the day so make sure you come back .
Got to dash, my kids break up from school tomorrow and I have things I have to do – aaagggghhh!!!
Loving all the wonderful creations but always a sucker for Owls. Twit twoo 🙂
