French Foliage from Stampin Up………….

And breathe…………….. mega busy here and so sorry I have neglected my blog posting duties…….

I was not taken with the set French Foliage when I first saw it in the mini catalogue, just not my style I thought and all I could think was autumn, how wrong was I?  I have fallen in love with this set and thanks to a lovely customer of mine suggesting I use it in the forthcoming Technique Class I got to work and made 3 lovely cards.  I have now seen the light and seen what fantastic value this little set is at £13.95 for clear mount and £17.95 for the wood set. I will be posting the other two cards in the next few days….

Don't you just love the detail on the stamps, oh and the script and dots, I will use these stamps SO much!  But I am not the only one who loves this set as when I went to order the set for my class attendees it was out of stock!!!  It's due back next week and if you would like to add it to your wish list I would be happy to help.

And so a quick recap on my life of the past couple of weeks.  There have been highs and lows but nothing dramatic, just me taking on too much and not having enough hours in the day.  I have had a birthday and was treated to some lovely cards and pressies and at a workshop after a birthday some of my lovely ladies even made cards for me and presented me with a delicious cupcake with a candle! Just one candle thank goodness :-D 

Some of my team have rallied round and been like knights in shining armour and taken jobs off my hands, I cannot thank Claire and Catherine enough (x) and also my lovely hubby who has been cutting DSP for a patterned paper sampler.  I thought this would make you laugh and give you an idea of me and the sorry state of things at the moment….

I was busy crafting of an evening and collapsed into bed with a head full of crafting ideas and to do lists.  I woke up in the morning and attempted to run a comb through my hair when I noticed I had this strip of pearls stuck to my arm!!  They had been there all evening and all through the night.  So it either goes to show that those little pearls from Stampin Up are super sticky and wont budge once stuck in place or it goes to show that when I go to sleep at the moment that I collapse in one position and don't move or fidget in my sleep. 

I think I need to change my bedding this weekend, perhaps that missing ink pad will turn up 😀
