Last weekend me and some of my lovely team and Bekka from another team and her lovely ladies had a stand at the NEC hobbycrafts show in Birmingham. What a great few days we had, it wa so lovely to meet so many people and also meet some of my customers and demonstrators that I have not had the chance to meet before. I can honestly say we did not stop, we received some wonderful comments about the look of the stand and of course the lovely products in the catalogue.
I will be posting photo's of the stand in the coming weeks, although they are a bit rubbish if I am honest (the photo's that is – not the stand!) but I wanted to share one of the projects I made specifically for the stand.
It's this little bird house that I covered with the new first edition speciality patterned papers. You get a massive 24 sheets of 12×12 in a pack for £11.50, the paper is more lightweight than the other patterns which makes it perfect for covering mdf and altering. The print is small and blends into the background so as not to overwhelm your project.
I used the embosslit to add butterflies and then used the square lattice embossing folder to make the roof tiles.
I will be back next week with a little video to show the beautiful butterflies and the roof but all the products are from Stampin Up and I would be happy to help you get your hands on them, just call me or email me 01296 715787/michelle@cbdesign.org.uk.
So I am off to get a dress for our annual conference next week, make 100 swaps and loads of other things. Last by name Last by nature!!!!!!!!!!!
(let's hope I am not last in the Demo of the Year Award :-DDDDDDDDDDD) Keep your fingers crossed for me x
just gorgeous x
Not alone Michelle, I have yet to start my swaps lol
What a sweet little birdhouse, and so beautifully made! Glad all went well at the NEC. I had planned to go, and was going to come and find you but I was still suffering the after effects of vertigo so was unable to drive (or walk actually) ):
Good luck for the conference, Hugs, Jo x
