This is a card I made for one of my best friends (I am lucky enough to have two best friends) who got married yesterday. The sun shone and it was a lovely day and I was very chuffed to be able to spend their special day with them. So I knew I had to make something special for them and I decided on the cream and white combo. It's not a combination I think of very often but I like the way it turned out.
There is lots of embossing on the card and I simply adore the embossed frame edged with the embosslit butterflies. The sentiment if from a retired sets but I had to use it as the words were perfect. This was one of the sentiment sets I could not part with in September and now resides on my top shelf….
And I also needed something pretty to hold on to my confetti. This is super simple to make and I used the the large oval punch to cut own a window from the embossed frame. I love the little stamp that says 'for the newlyweds', shame in my sample I did not stamp it straight but the one I used on the day was straight I promise!!
So something a little different at this time of year, I hope your Christmas preparations are going well and I am off to write some Christmas cards……
Dont forget if you need to place an order for a loved one you still have time and if you need gift vouchers I will be making some gift cards later today and can do one for you if you wish.
Have a great day x
