This was the project for the day, a beautiful tin to keep 8 notelets inside with envelopes –
For the first part of the day we covered the tin inside and out and made the roses, that largest of the roses was a bit of a challenge even with picture instructions but most had got it by the end of the day…. not sure they will be making a whole vase full though!!
We used the Mocha Morning Speciality Papers £11.50 which seemed a popular choice.
And each of the 8 notelets was made using a different neutrals colour scheme, I think my favourite was the Sahara Sand One (top right). We made the notecards in the afternoon using the Fresh Vintage stamp set which is free with every £45 you spend and the embosslit butterflies die which cuts and embosses in one swipe through the big shot.
Here are two of the ladies doing one of the two smaller make and takes –
And another table of ladies busy working on their notecard tins, deep in concentration……..
We had a Crafters Choice Competition and everyone was invited to bring along something they had made to share and inspire the group. I was overwhelmed by the responses. What a talented bunch of ladies they are and such wonderful ideas, thank you for taking part ladies.
Some of my photo's had a strange blue glow so I can only share a few of the photo's
We all voted for our favourite two and the two most popular won some Stampin Up goodies. The entry below was from Sandra and she made this beautiful project, can you believe the ducks are made using the milk carton die – WOW!!
And this next entry was from Diane and I just love the colour scheme and the flowers (the blue disks are not part of the project, they were the discs we used to vote :-D).
This was one of the make and takes, a sweet little chick made using the bird punch. I plan to do a video tutorial next week to show you how to make this so watch this space.
I could not have managed without the help of two of my wonderful team. Nicky and Catherine came and helped me set up and tidy away as well as being really hands on during the day. Thank you ladies you are such great demo's and friends too x
Nicky was demoing the second make and take using the partial embossing technique, sorry I did not get a photo of the card we made.
There are so many other things I forgot to photograph from the yummy cakes, the sample table, the raffle table and the little party bags that everyone received when they were leaving. Everyone left with a little bag filled with sweet treats, free stamps and a thank you as well as their cupcake and water bottle and name badge. Everyone seemed to have a lovely day, me included.
I plan to do another later in the year and if you would like to be added to my emailing list to ensure you get sent the information, please send me an email at michelle@cbdesign.org.uk.
Well, its been a mammoth post, which you totally deserve as I have kept you waiting far too long this week for photo's. So have a lovely weekend and see you next week I hope x

Looks like you all had a great time, isn’t our job the best?????
Someone asked me for easter chocolate holders and I live your chick pouch, might do it with the Bunny set, shame we can’t get Cadbury’s mini eggs in France though!
Hi! The note tins are beautiful!
Do you have instructions on how to make the flowers that decorated the outside? The smaller ones look like strips of paper rolled up but how did you do the big flower w/ the brad?
