Mini Album – KIT AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE……..

I adore Pinterest, I have so many lovely ideas and images and I have a special board for all the quotes that I have fallen in love with.  Problem is trying to remember them so I decided to make a mini album to keep me favourite ones close to hand. 

I was at a training event held by Stampin' Up! in Edinburgh  earlier in the year and Nicky, one of my team was wowing us all with her creativeness and she had made one of these mini albums.  It was so beautifully made and I just knew it would be perfect for my quotes.

I just love the way the pages are bound to have gaps between them so that bulky embellishments have room and the album still lays flat without fanning open.

I used lots of different inserts using the framelits dies and added some photos and quotes and I was thrilled with the finished result.  I got it ready just in time for my retreat in May but have not had a moment to share the photos with you on my blog….

So in the next few days I will be sharing photo's of the pages and inserts along with the quotes.

And I will be offering a kit so that you can make your own mini album too.

This would be a perfect summer project, you don’t need to add quotes,  just your own photo's and journalling and the albums finished size is 6 1/2" x 5" x 1 3/4".  There are 6 pages which hold two inserts each and you can decorate the front and back of the album too, so potentially 24 pages (measuring 15x10cm) to scrapbook!!

You will need to watch the video on how to make your album but I will send a detailed tutorial on how to decorate and pages and inserts with some hints on tips as well as some cool techniques for the decorating the album with lots of photos for reference.

The kit costs £24 including postage (Royal mail first class delivery to mainland UK) and will take approx 5 working days to arrive.

• 30cm of Baja Breeze Seam Binding and 30cm 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon in Old Olive and Baja Breeze
• 3 clips from the clips assortment & 4 buttons from Twitterpated buttons range
• 5 different styles of Antiques Brads

• A few die cut embellishments to enhance your mini album.

The contents of the kit have been designed to co-ordinate with the twitterpated patterned paper.

You will need some chipboard (the backing from the 12×12" paper packs is perfect) or anything similar to create the cover of the album will work perfectly.
