Here are my little Halloween treat pouches. There were made using the smallest tag from the Two Tags die. I die cut two tags for each pouch and scored along the bottom and glued them together. I then wrapped a strip of patterned paper from the Houndstooth and Scaringbone designer series paper around the middle to hold the sweet treats in place. Lastly I stamped one of the ghouls/bats/spiders from the new Googly Ghouls stamp set (£11.95 (c)), added some googly eyes and punched out and mounted them on the front. I made a handle with the tiny oval punch and tied some of the new striped satin ribbon which is perfect Halloween. If you would like to make some cute and inexpensive Halloween treats with the kids, there is a wonderfully priced bundle to get you started.
So how did that happen, where did August go and how can it be September already? I have been on my hols, read three books, chilled and got some sun and have come back rejuvenated and refreshed and ready to face all the wonderful new things that Stampin' Up! has thrown at us…..
1st September – Retired Lists
The 1st of September is when Stampin' Up! tell us which items will be leaving the current Idea Book and Catalogue. They are limited and only available for the month of September and whilst stocks last. Some are discounted and some are being reconfigured which is why they are on the list. The list is updated daily at 5pm and some of the most popular items have already sold out!
So don't delay, take a look and place your order before they are gone for good!
There are two pdf documents to view, one of stamps and one of accessories

1st September – Launch of the new Autumn/Winter Seasonal Catalogue
The wait is finally over and you can view a copy by clicking the picture on the right hand side of my blog or by visiting here……
Stampin' Up! Autumn/Winter Seasonal Catalogue
It is huge, nearly A4 in size with 40 pages and will replace the previous mini catalogues we have had before. It is jam packed with all new seasonal items and as always, all the items are so much nicer in the flesh. I made the Halloween treats above for our recent Stampin' Up Leadership event in Reading. 80 demos met up for a full day of training and inspiration and part of the day is dedicated to swapping craft samples to use in our business. So you make as many as you can (I made 40) and come home with 40 different samples. It really makes the products come to life and I now have some great samples to show my customers at my upcoming parties and events.
If you would like a paper copy of the Autumn/Winter Seasonal catalogue posting to you please drop me an email at michelle@cbdesign.org.uk
Hope to hear from you soon!
