If you have arrived from Sarah's blog, a big hello to you….
So when it came time to choose which set I would use from the new Autumn/Winter seasonal catalogue there was no competition. I knew it had to be the Ornament Keepsakes Bundle. The Christmas baubles are so elegant and with the framelits die they are so versatile.
I
pictured a card in my mind and it pretty much looked like the one on
the left, I love it when that happens. I love red and pink together and
I thought the silver embossed sentiment added a touch of
sophistication. And here is a peek on the inside….
Supplies used –
Cardstock – Whisper white, crumb cake & pink pirouette. Snow Festival DSP £9.95
Ink – Pink Pirouette, New Illuminate ink pad, versamark ink and silver embossing powder.
Stamp sets – Ornament Keepsakes (£24.95 clear £30.95 wood) & Heart of Christmas (£7.95)
Tools & Accessories – Holiday Ornament Framelit Dies £20.95, linen thread, paper piercing templates £7.25, rhinestones and dimensionals and real red taffeta ribbon.
I
also love that you can cut anywhere on a page with the framelits
holiday ornaments dies. So on the second card, I cut the ornament shape
I wanted then added angled strips of patterned paper from the snow
festival patterned paper. I tied a bow around the top of the ornament
and heat embossed half of the Heart of Christmas sentiment at the top
and the other half of the sentiment at the bottom.

And I could not resist making a gift pouch in the same Snow Festival patterned paper to match which I then accented with the new snow festival designer printed tags. They are great as they have a printed image on one side and a plain pattern on the other so multifunctional and super cheap too at only £3.75 for 25 double sided tags.

I am so pleased with how they all came out and think I have chosen the design of my Christmas card for this year – now all I have to do is make them!!!!

Great cards Michelle – particularly like the 2nd one with framelit image cut out from the main card. Also on the same card the Heart of Christmas stamp looks really good with the greeting split. I had totally overlooked that stamp but you have widened the possibilities!!! Thanks for enabling (I think?!)! Nx
Gorgeous Michelle – and your projects aren’t bad either 😉
