I had a chance to get creating this week with some of the new stamps from the new Stampin' Up! Seasonal catalogue. It is the Autumn/Winter edition and all 40 pages are filled with beautiful new items to complement the coming season.
I have a Card Class on Monday 24th Sept and we will be using the new Affection Collection stamp set so I had to come up with 3 different cards that we could make. Sometimes I feel a little nervous and the pressure can get to me when I HAVE to design the cards for my class cards. I always want to make something that my customers will love and something that showcases the stamp set and shows it versatility as my worst fear is that I will be sat here alone with no-one attending!
Yesterday got away from me and I did not start to make the three cards till about 3.30pm. I looked at the stamp set and was determined not to google images of cards and to come up with something unique.
And I can tell you that by 5:30pm all three cards were made, I was delighted with the results and I have fallen head over heels in love with this stamp set. The cards I designed were far more grungy and vintage than my usual style and I really enjoyed trying something new.
Here are all three cards, although I will post the close up photo's of the other two cards in the coming days.
