I thought you needed some posts about craft items so I have shared a card I made at a recent Stampin' party I hosted at the lovely Di's house. I first saw this card design on pinterest and decided to case it for the make and take. I wanted to find out the original owner and when I checked out Penny's lovely blog I realised that so many of her designs I had pinned already. Go check out Penny's blog.
We had a lovely evening and I managed to completely mess up my demonstration by scoring the patterned paper too hard and tearing the notecard pocket I was making!! It was a great demonstration on how NOT to do it but they were a kind bunch of ladies and laughed along with me.
We used the following supplies to make the card –
Make a Mitten stamp set £17.95 (clear mount) £21.95 (wood)
Mitten Builder Punch £14.25
Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade and Pool Party Ink and Island Indigo Bakers Twine. We added some glitter to the centre of the snowflakes and I also showed an idea using the long thin cello bags which are in the new Annual Catalogue and a steal at £2.25 for 50. They would look wonderful with colour coordinated smarties or m&m's but I could only find mini love hearts! All finished off with a tag in coordinating colours.
And because its been ages and you might be wondering how my little Pip is doing I thought I would share a photo we took last weekend on my husbands birthday…..
She is such a sweetheart and I love the look of love on her little face…….
Anyway, I'm off, take care x
Love the card Michelle and such a pretty colour combo. What a fabulous photo of you all, so sweet.
See you when we get back.
Hugs Carol X
Michelle,
How sweet of you to share your card and my blog! It’s exciting to be living in a time when we can share our creativity around the world. Your card and candy holder turned out so pretty… think I’ll have to run upstairs and make another!
Congrats on your Stampin’ Up! achievements also – that’s fantastic!
