And that someone special is my sister who is going to be 50 tomorrow!! I saw this card on Michelle Zindorf's blog and I knew I had to give it a try as she shows such an easy to follow tutorial and I was delighted on how easy it was to make. I have made several and they all look slightly different depending on how hard you press the ink pad onto the cardstock but the results were amazing. I used Serene Silhouettes (£17.95 in clear mount) and will be posting more cards made with this set as it is such a pretty set and great for men and women.
I think the sentiment goes beautifully on the card and I decided not to add a HUGE 50 as we don't always was that reminder staring at us from the mantelpiece or fireplace to tell us how old we are do we?? I know I would rather not think about how old I am, especially as having a sister who is 50 makes me feel really old!
