It was AMAZING!! I loved it, I think it was the best one ever!! I always so look forward to this annual weekend but I am always stressed out just before making sure I have all the swaps and things I need to take and this year was no different. I was practically on my knees as October had been such a wonderful month and I hardly had a moment to stop and take a breath!
But I am learning not to stress about it as it always seems to get done and it did get done, thank goodness!
I had lots to prep as there were 22 of us from our team of Pinkies and I wanted to make special swaps for my team members. I settled on these little beauties for everyone with a little something extra for my direct recruits which is the little box wrapped in pink ribbon.
The book is a diary for next year and a pen along with a box of sweet treats for when we needed sugar and believe me we did really need sugar. The box tied with pink ribbon was the heart embosslits as we all love product!!
Next up and designed to co-ordinate are the prizes for my talented Pinkies. I decided I wanted to give our own awards to our top 5 Pinkies who had achieved the highly over the last year. I decorated boxes which had hand picked gifts for the first, second and third place winners. They also got some other goodies too which I hope they will keep to remind them of their achievements.
And finally my general swaps
And I also made a few in another style too
with an English breakfast tea bag and choocie
And we had a get together on the Thursday night and here they all are laid out ready for their new owners. My room was rather small for 22 people but we managed and it was a lovely start to what was a wonderful weekend.
I'm off now as our team has a monthly team training tonight and I need to bring along all my swaps and goodies to show the rest of the group.
I will be back tomorrow with more photos to share.
