I hope you and your family had a wonderful and relaxing Christmas. We had a lovely if not slightly mad Christmas Day followed by a relaxed and chilled Boxing Day and then shared yesterday with family too. Today is a tidying day as the house looks a complete mess and a little bit of work in prep for exciting times in the New Year. So I thought I would share a little something I made with you.
I had some time to play before Christmas Day as I was surprisingly organised this year. I had some cups from a well known coffee retailer and was inspired to upcycle them using Stampin' Up! supplies and some store cupboard ingredients…..
So this was the before
And I had two cups so I un-assembled one to make a template for the patterned paper so that it wrapped around the cup perfectly. And this was the finished result….
All supplies used are Stampin' Up! I used the snowflake flurry bigz die £18.95 and the silver Glimmer Paper £4.50, Midnight Muse Stitched Satin Ribbon £7.95 and the International Bazaar Patterned Paper £9.95. The Christmas Cheer sentiment is from Sweet Essentials and is £13.95 in clear mount.
Here is a close of of the sentiment and the contents –
I used the long thin cello bags (p161) which are £2.25 for 50 and perfect for treats at Easter, Valentines & Christmas and even party bags.
A super cheap and thoughtful gift and who would not want a cup of hot chocolate?
I wish you and your family a Happy and Healthy New Year, take care
