I held my last Technique Class of the year yesterday and we used the Flowering Flourishes stamp set from Stampin' Up! and I think everyone was very happy with how versatile this stamp set and how the cards turned out.
The card above was the most time consuming as we created the netting background before over stamping and heat embossing the flourish with clear embossing powder and then we used the brayer and choc chip ink to fill in the part with out the embossing. It is a really great technique and worth a try. We added some butterflies and some fancy folds and a finishing touch using the sentiment set Occasions Alphabet. I will post a photo of the inside tomorrow but its is too dark and foggy here today to get a good photo.
I also made a little treat box for all my class attendees using the Candy Wrapper Die wrapped in patterned paper stack from the Seasonal catalogue. I was so happy with the result that I will be making these as table gifts on Christmas Day. Don't worry, my sis is cooking and I will be providing a small amount of cooking expertise (I have been assigned desserts and sausages wrapped in bacon) and of course a little bit of craftiness for the table.
I want to thank all my customers for attending my classes over the last year and for making my job so much fun. I will be emailing out my new class schedule in January and if you would like to be added to my email list just let me know at michelle@cbdesign.org.uk.
I will be back with more photos of the cards we made once the fog lifts and daylight makes an appearance!
Have a great evening x
