As promised I am here to share more on the cute baby project I made for one of my lovely downline Traci. She has be waiting so patiently for this little baby to arrive and has been backwards and forwards to the hospital and I am delighted that little Grace Mary finally made an appearance….
If you pop over to Traci's blog you can she a photo of Mum, Dad and Grace all together traci's blog
So I had to make them both something special….
It is a little mini scrapbook house that which can be used as a card and then you can add photo's and keep as a keepsake for years to come. I still have all my new baby cards for both my kids and they are 16 and 14 – I can feel an appearance on secret hoarders coming up!!
The roof is the card and here is the inside…
(I could not fit all 4 panels in the photo!) On one panel I coloured in the Two by Two individual stamp (£7.95) using ink and a blender pen. The pink panel is ready for a photo, the next panel has all the birth announcement details on it…..
….and the very vanilla panel is ready for a photo too!
Here is the front door of the house, I wanted to make a door wreath using our punches and using the Simply Serif Mini Alphabet stamp set (£18.95 a tip coming on how to use these soon!)
And it folds flat ready for posting….
Let me introduce cute soft bunny (I could not resist him and simply added a pink bow and a tag using the silver glimmer paper which has been coloured in with a pink pirouette marker. (See previous post to see a tip on how to do this)…
And who could resist these teeny tiny socks, probably totally inpractical and will fall off in a second of being put on but I could not help myself, resistance was futile….
So I am hoping that this package arrived safely with Traci and her lovely family and that she enjoys every little cuddle she has with her little daughter(s)…….
Have a great day
How beautiful – and i am thinking that perhaps I could amend it for a first house card and gift x
That looks fab! And I adore the bunny!
Eveline.
