We’re so glad you could join us on Part 1 of the Pinkies Spring/Summer Blog Hop. We are showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using products from the new Stampin’ Up!® Spring/Summer Catalogue. We have so much inspiration to share with you so we will be offering two Blog Hops – Part 2 will be tomorrow (Sunday 10th February). Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep on hopping. Do come back tomorrow to see what Part 2 has in store. We love comments, so please tell us what you think!
If you have arrived here from Lynne’s blog, welcome and a big hello to you………..
I had no mojo on the day I had planned to make the card for the blog hop. I cut lots of cardstock and did some crafting but nothing I was happy with. I left my desk and had my tea and a little TV break and then went and had another play and as it always the case, once I started I could not stop. It was dark and the light was rubbish but I carried on and here are the results…..
That stamp is just beautiful!! Swallowtail £12.95 in clearmount and it is huge!!
I was intending to add more to this card but once I added the sparkle, it just felt wrong to cover it up!
So I just added the Oh Hello sentiment from the Oh, Hello stamp set £17.95 in clear mount on cardstock vellum and cut out using the Flag Shape from the Hearts a Flutter framelits dies. And heat and stick powder makes the glitter stick beautifully without rubbing off.
And for my second card, this was the one I had in my head before I started…
Love this too, I inked the edges and layered some patterned paper to create a vintage feel.
It is hard to see but the ticket says Happy Birthday and is from the That’s the Ticket stamp set £16.95 in clear mount which has to be one of my favourites from the Spring/Summer catalogue…
So next stop is Gill’s blog, why don’t you go and take a peek at what she has been up to?
And don’t forget to come back to my blog tomorrow to see Part 2 of the Pinkies blog hop.
Thanks for stopping by……..
