Afternoon! I promised you this post earlier in the week, really, I don't know where the days go at the moment! I am off to Holland today so I really want to get this post loaded before I leave so fingers crossed it goes to plan!!
Last weekend some of our team spent the whole weekend together in Birmingham. It is something I have been wanting to organise for quite some time and with some help from my lovely downline we found the perfect venue right slap bang in the centre of Birmingham. We had two days planned or business classes, crafting, games, and lots of lots of fun. 3 of my team flew in from The Netherlands and I also had a donwline from Northern Ireland which was the first time we had met so it was wonderful to spend some time with everyone who came.
It was SO much fun, I had some reservations about how would work out and if the venue was going to be OK but honestly it could not have gone better!! Everyone did their bit to make it a collective effort and I can honestly tell you my face hurt from laughing so hard :0)
What a wonderful bunch of people that I am blessed to know….
Here is Martin's Inspiration Table which is filled with ideas using the Neutrals colour family, he is such a talented crafter and we loved spending the weekend with both Anthony and Martin, yes we have male members of our team too!!
The lovely Louise and Calli, these ladies created fun games for us to play and I loved spending time with them both and getting to know them better.
This photo was taken right at the end of the event, this is me and Clare from Northern Ireland, I look shattered, not from hard work but late nights, early morning and far too much talking!! This was the first time I had met Clare and I love it when you get along right away on the first meeting, that is certainly the case with Clare
These are the beautiful name badges and place cards that Laura made, she is such a talented crafter and I don't see nearly enough of her so it was great to see her.
Michelle was busy crafting and made great use of the time over the weekend and even got some crafting done!
This was Anel's Inspiration table, it was huge, she had worked so hard and created some beautiful samples to share with the group….
And some close ups all using the bordering with romance set and matching items.
Caro and Erna from The Netherlands, it was great to spend the weekend with them and to introduce them to the rest of the Pinkies.
The Dutchies loved Martin! He is so funny…..
This is one of the 4 WOW make and takes we made, I don't have pics of the other 3 as I was too busy chatting to take photo's!
This was one of the classes we did that was created by Catherine, we learned lots of techniques and got to try them out too whiih means I am far more likely to remember them!
And our venue location was so central that lunch breaks were spent in Selfridges and I had my eye on a watch from Muji which we decided would be the team watch and several of us bought one in various colours.
Happy memories, I will post my swaps etc, but I must dash, I have to leave in half an hour and need to walk the pooch before I leave for the airport. Think of me this weekend spending time at a training event in Almere with my lovely Ducth team, can't wait!!
Have a good one x
Looked like lots of fun Michelle with a great bunch of crafters. Have a nice time in holland.

What a great way to spend a weekend! One of the better experiences in life is making new friends. I love that in a quick jaunt in Europe, you can be in a totally different country, enjoying their customs and people. Hope you have a great time in Holland!
What a great post you’ve written! That picture of us Dutchies with Martin is lovely!
Thanks for your kindness and time during the weekend! Xx
