I had a quick little crafting session at the weekend as I wanted to make a card for my neices birthday. I experimented with the distressed dots background stamp and tried stamping it onto Early Espresso cardstock using versamark and also heat embossing with clear emboss powder and early espresso emboss powder. I decided I like the clear embossed image and got to stamping 5 pieces to go on my card fronts. Why not churn out a few at the same time, especially whilst all the supplies are out and to hand?
I added a splash of colour with the background mount and finished them off with a sentiment from Petite Pairs, punched and mounted onto the scallop square. All finished off with a crumb cake little leaves sizzlit and the floral fusion flower and a glimmer brad – viola!!
Never be short of a card or two to send in a hurry…..
Hope you like them.
Gorgeous. I’ve been hankering after the distressed dots, but no I may have been persuaded. Not that it’s hard to persuade me to buy SU!

Great idea to do a few backgrounds at the same time! That’s often what is missing when I have to do a quick card.
Love having your daily emails – you are a very busy girl!
