Team traning and Downline gifts for my team...

It was our regional training event in Telford with Stampin' Up! at the weekend and it was absolutely great. There were 50 of our team there and it was wonderful to meet some of my team for the first time. We were completely spoiled with lots of samples and displays to inspire us, fantastic presentations to motivate us and to get our creative juices going and I was so proud to have two of my team take the stage in front of 300+ people and share their knowledge and insight with us – well done Sarah Poulton and Lynney Fahey (Both have blogs on my sidebar, go and check out their blogs and their own experiences of the day…)

A big part of the day is being with your fellow demos and we like to do something that involves swapping cards or 3D items we have made using Stampin' Up! products. Not only do you come home with loads of samples and ideas to use in your Stampin' Up! business but you get to mix and mingle with people you may not normally get to see. It really is great fun and certainly one of the highlights of the day.

I also made a special gift for all my direct recruits who attended on the day….

and inside was a scissor charm to attach to the handle of their scissors. Made from a soda pop top and of course the idea was originally from Pinterest ;0). Can you see those teeny tiny tic tacs, they are so cute and I could not resist buying them when I flew to Holland recently via Heathrow! I covered the large tag from the two tags die with patterned paper from the Print Poetry Pattern Stack in the seasonal catalogue and then decorated with a flower and the leaf is from my new favourite set called Wonderfall which is listed on page 34 of the seasonal catalogue.There is no image of the set so just in case you wanted to see it, this is what it looks like –
