Just a super quick post today as I have so much to do, including making a new baby boy card – yes that's right I am a Great Auntie!!!! My wonderful niece had her baby this morning and it's a little boy. news hot off the press as we only heard about an hour ago and I have not heard the weight or the name yet but that they are all safe and well and I cannot wait to meet him!!!
So completely by coincidence and just to confuse you, I am sharing a baby girl card today which I sent to one of my team who recently had her first baby, Esme {cute name}. I am so delighted to hear that Beckie and her partners baby arrived safe and sound and it seems that I am surrounded by lovely baby news at the moment, lucky me!!!
I used the scallop square (which has sold out) to make a card base and then used the gingham from a previous post (see the tutorial on how to make the gingham effect) I used the rectangle sizzlit (which is retiring in a few days) and stamped the BABY word from the One in a Million stamp set in crumb cake ink onto whisper white cardstock all finished off with a sweetie bow using the Pink Pirouette Taffeta ribbon (I have a video to show you how to make that too if you go to my you tube channel).
And viola!!!
So have a great day, I'm off to make a card so some shopping for blue things!!!
I made a baby girl card at the crop on Saturday!!!
Guess what pink gingham too. If I knew how to get the photo on I would posy it so you could see it!!!
Yours is lovely I think sometimes the more simple the better
See you soon
Ann
