So I realised I did not share any more news with you about my new little great nephew….
Here is the card I made using Stampin' Up! Supplies. I have made others like this before and to be honest we were not sure if we would be able to pop over and see him so soon after arriving home so the card was made rather hastily but it turned out cute.
I used the new Label Love stamp set for the front of the babygro and you will see why I chose that sentiment in a moment! I love how the needlepoint border embossing added a nice finishing touch to the sleeves and I could not have made this card without the fantastic scallop punches. The patterned paper is from the Designer Series papers stacks on page 152 which are so easily over looked but fantastic value at £19.50 for 40 sheets = 49p per sheet of double sided paper in small enough patterns, perfect for both card making and scrapbooking.
And would you like to meet him? Guess what they named him??
Teddy, what a cutie! We are all smitten with him. It is my sons 17th birthday today so we are off to visit family and have a BBQ, perfect weather and I am hoping that Teddy will be there as more cuddles are needed.
And stay off the roads everyone if you want to stay safe, my son will be out and about having driving lessons in the coming months ;0)
Love the card.
Want a cuddle!!!
Happy birthday Dom:-)
Michelle the time to worry is when he’s passed his test
See you later
