My Stampin' Up! Craft Day

I had a lovely day on Sunday with some of my customers who travelled far and wide to come and be appreciated, craft to their hearts content, make pretty things, eat cake, chat, laugh and got home with a smile on their faces.

I sincerely hope that was the case :0) I run this event twice a year for my customers and I will be holding another one in Feb/Mar of next year.

We made some Christmas themed projects this time…..

Here is the paper curled wreath made using the season of style paper stack (£6.25) and lots of ladies curling paper for their wreath…

The next project was this little pine cone….

We made this pine cone using a foam egg and folded patterned paper, if you want to purchase a tutorial to make one of these, this is the one I used Gill Prescott – Pine Cone Tutorial.

We made a WOW slider card for someone special at Christmas time. I say someone special as it was rather complicated and we felt like we needed to lie down in a dark room once it was done :0) but worth the effort I think and hopefully the ladies will agree with me.

I will be producing a tutorial to make this card (priced at £3) so watch my blog for when I announce it.

There is a crafters choice competition when the guests bring along something they have made and two winners are chosen and they win some Stampin' Up! goodies. There are some really talented people in the group.

Samples and ideas…..

One of the guestss decided not to curl her ribbon but to wrap it around her foam ring like the sample I will be sharing in a couple of days, I love how it turned out.
