Thank
you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop! We're showcasing lots of
gorgeous projects using products from the new Stampin' Up!® Autumn/Winter
Seasonal Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep
hopping!
If you have arrived here from Nicole's blog , welcome and I hope you have enjoyed seeing what we have all been busy creating.
My project today is a wreath I have made that can hang in my home all year round. I made it to match the decor in my home and at the moment it is on the cupboard door as you enter my home for all to see. It may quickly get battered through with teenage kids whipping through my tiny hall way so I may move it elsewhere. If you know me and my style you won't be surprised by my choice of colours :0) I simply love pool party and soft suede!!
I purchased a flat backed foam ring and wrapped the lovely new burlap ribbon around it and secured it in place with pins. It means if I get bored of this piece I can unravel the burlap ribbon and use it again on something else!
I then set about decorating the wreath with different types of flowers using Stampin' Up! punches, dies, paper and cardstock. I used the new Frosted Finishes Embellishments (£6.25 for 12) which are my latest favourite from the whole seasonal catalogue. They seem to make their way onto everything I make at the moment!
The dies and punches i used to make the flowers are as follows - Fancy flower punch, blossom punch and the floral frames collection dies. I used the ruffled stretched trim for the centre of the large flower and the small calypso coral flower and adorned with some buttons and antique brads. I used some crystal topped pins I had in my supplies for some of the flower centres.
I will be showing how to make the flowers in my videos starting next week, each video focusing on a different flower so be sure to pop by and have a look.
So next stop is Janneke's blog, why don't you hop over to her blog to see what she has been up to….
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a great weekend x
