I saw this clever little idea over on Pinterest and knew right away I wanted to give it a try. I did experiment with different inks with limited success but I found that heat embossing worked like a charm….
You can create borders with any framelits you have that have nesting shapes but sometimes we have a die that does not have other dies in the collection in varying sizes and my hand cutting around the intricate shape just would never do so this seemed a great tip to try.
Check out todays's video which will show you how to create this effect and give it a go yourself.
I have used one of the new dies in the circle thinlits collection, visit my online shop to order these dies.
Hope you enjoy the video, thanks so much for stopping by….
Lovely 🙂
Oooh – what a great idea! Lovely card xx
Amazing idea Michelle, thanks for sharing!
Great video. Can’t wait to try that one! Thanks a bunch. 🙂
LOVE this..Stunning card too.
One question..what is the best way to clean the die again..since the Versamark is really sticky?
This is a fantastic new tip for me. I mail cards overseas, so I really have to watch the numbers of layers. This will allow for that wow effect without an additional layer. Love it!!!!
