I hosted a Stampin’ Up! party last night. It was way too much fun to call work with a lovely group of ladies. We made this card which I unashamedly case’d from one of my very talented team Tracy May – check out her blog here! It proved very popular and everyone was happy with the card they had made including a new lady who had never been to a stampin up party before and had not stamped successfully previously.
I love seeing the look of delight when they have made something they are happy with, makes my job the best job ever!!
So I want to try a little something new on Fridays – I will share a little fact/story with you that you did not know about me, so here goes…
Reveal Friday – I am the youngest of three girls, I have two sisters 6 & 8 years older than me and they both live 1/2 an hour away. One of my sisters, Carolyn works for me one day a week. We work together great, she is a crafter but not a demo and my fall guy. So if anything is ever cut wrong or missing I blame my poor Sis, its a running joke, she is fab really and I don’t know how I would cope without her….
Thanks sis x
This card is beautiful!!! Can you please share what supplies you used and how you made it? I would like to CASE it, too. Thanks!
If you pop over to Tracy’s blog she has a brief description of how she made it but I simply masked off the desired area, inked a clear block and spritzed it with water (soft sky and marina mist ink) and then stamped it over the masked area and left if for a few minutes to absorb in to the paper. I removed the block and that created the background and I simply added lined thread, my sentiment and the butterflies – beauty is it looks different every time!!
Thank you so much for your specific instructions!!!
