Stampin’ Up! Epic Day Paper for the Stamping & Blogging Sketch Challenge

March 26, 2014 By Michelle Last

Epic Day Card using Sketch from Stamping & Blogging by design team member Michelle Last

It is that time of the week for the latest sketch challenge from Stamping&Blogging and this is the card I created.  I made if for my Aunt’s birthday and she likes vintage and shabby chic so I went a little mad with the inking and sewing machine.  I used the Epic Day This & That paper and added some extra ink around the edges. I think used my sewing machine and machine stitched the paper. I used a doily to mimic the circle in the sketch below and used a brayer to shabby it up added the sentiment from Perfectly Penned which was heat embossed using pewter embossing powder.

And here is the inside –

I used some splatters from Gorgeous Grunge and it needed a little something extra so I reached for the Petite Petals bundle and some rhinestones.  Here is this weeks sketch –

How about some Cactus Cuties to brighten someone’s day? I love how the little step makes the plants stand out from the embossed brick background. I loved making this card and adding a sponge edge to the cactus for extra depth and dimension. All supplies are from my Stampin Up shop, let me know if I can help x

This wonderful group of Dutch Stampin’ Up demos This wonderful group of Dutch Stampin’ Up demos are truly wonderful. I’ve spent the last three days spending time with them, getting to know them better and meeting some for the first time. They are the most warm, friendly and welcoming bunch and it has been the best feeling to gather together in person with them after so long. Spending time with crafters, customers and demonstrators is the best part of my job and I have friends from all over the world. My heart is full ♥️ #ShareYourMoment #bestjobever #stampinup #michellelast #stampinupnederland #pinkies #stampinupdemonstrator #blessed
