I woke up with a virus! Thankfully not me but my computer, I think we are all fixed but it just is another thing that has thrown a spanner in the works and is conspiring against me to get all my tasks done at the moment. Upside was I had to step away from my computer whilst my hubs try to fix it and get on and make this weeks sketch challenge card!
Of course the sketch screams the hexagon punch and the six sided sampler but I decided to use the hexagon punch from Stampin Up and not the matching stamp set this time!
I challenged myself to use a colour for the front of the card as I always lean towards white or cream for the background and made this version….
I used Daffodil Delight cardstock, gingham garden patterned paper and the matching washi tape. I have to tell you I liked it but did not love it, so I reverted back to my trusty old whisper white and made this one…..
Which is your favourite? I asked my hubs, he liked the yellow one, I like the white one, I guess that is why opposites attract!
So pop on over to the other design team members to see what they created –

WOW just realised what little supplies I needed to create this card.
So let me know which you prefer, hope you have a great day!
I love them both, but I love the clean lines of the Whisper White card, lovely take on the challenge this week my friend, thanks so much for playing along with us, hope your hubby was able to scare away the nasty virus.
He did thank goodness, thanks Sandi, great minds think alike as I like the white one too!!
Beautiful cards Michelle! I’m with you and Sandi, I think that I like the white card better but they are both fantastic. Great use of the DSP, love how the flowers peek through the hexagon punches!

I absolutely love that you actually used the hexagon punch on your base card ILO punch outs. It makes it so lovely! BTW, my fav is the white also.
