I have not used this set in a while and I will be dusting it off and creating with it again and I had forgotten how stunning it is! I used Apothecary Art to make my weekly card for the Stamping&Blogging Sketch challenge. We are up to #52 with the sketches now and here is the sketch which inspired me…..
I have some paper here which I have hardly used {in fact I have lots of items here I have hardly used :0)} and I wanted to use it and before I knew it, it was cut, inked and on my card. Can you guess what the paper I used is called. All I will say is that it is current. The first person to leave a comment with the correct name of the paper will win a little prize (UK entries only). All the elements went together so easy and I simply coloured in the flowers using the markers shown below.
Just in case you cannot read the marker names, I used Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Island Indigo, Pear Pizzazz & Old Olive. I did a tiny bit of shading with the smoky slate pen too!
And I echoed the paper on the inside too and cut out an extra flower to cheer up someone up when they opened it! I added some pearls in the centre of the flowers and added the sentiment banner and it was done!
I am pretty excited to see what the other design team members have made, come over with me and take a look….

Oh my goodness, your card is just beautiful Michelle! I love the die cut edge an the sponging. Fantastic!! And I do know which paper you used…but since I’m not in the UK, I’m not going to tell. 😉
Exquisite is all I can say. The coloring and shading are to die for. great job my friend.
Oh Michelle, this card is stunning, the flowers are coloured beautifully, and like Amy I also know which paper you used, LOL…but I won’t tell!…what a fun contest to have today…good luck to everyone who enters
Lovely card Michelle, thank you so much for sharing XXXX
I really love this card. I am in the uk but I am new to stampin up and have no idea what paper you used but it’s really pretty.
Hi Michelle
A really beautiful card, and what a good idea to join in with stamping challenges. I would like to think that the DSP you have used is from the Retro Fresh series paper. I don’t tend to use DSP myself as I enjoy creating backgrounds with stamping.
It is indeed Retro Fresh DSP Nicola, congrats on choosing the correct paper, drop me an email with your address and I will pop something in the post to you (michelle@cbdesign.org.uk)
Oh dear too late……..but not to say what a lovely card Michelle, just love the colours !! You know I always love what you make sweetie !!
hugs Diane xx
It was indeed a lovely day to say goodbye…………
