Here is the card I designed for this weeks challenge. I embossed the card front with the Hardwood background stamp in clear embossing powder and cut out a Lattice die cut in Basic Gray cardstock. I overlayed it onto some newsprint patterned paper from the Modern Medley paper pack (on special this week as part of the Weekly deals) from Stampin Up and trimmed the edges.I die cut the ‘hi’ from the thinlits card dies and mounted it onto very vanilla and crushed curry circles.
But it needed something else, my sister Carolyn, who works with me on a Tuesday and I kept walking backwards and forwards saying what about this, with varying bit of cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon and bakers twine. We decided on a simple flower from the Itty Bitty shapes punch pack and two little patterned paper flags. Not quite to the sketch but close enough…..
I did add an insert but nothing fancy, just simple coordinating cardstock to write your greeting on.
So shall we pop on over to see what the other talented ladies have made using the same sketch?
