What a miserable day!! I have washing on the line and I think I may need to put it back into the machine once the rain stops and I can make it to the washing line!! So I thought I’d share with you a little something to brighten your day.
I had this bottle on my shelf all sad and lonely and had made a flower using the Spiral Flower Die (£15.95 – 129379)to add to a card but it was too bulky and just did not look right. So I rustled up a few more in very vanilla and a mix of crushed curry cardstock and the crushed curry patterns stack paper and mounted them onto wooden BBQ skewers.
I added a large rhinestone to the centre and tied some ribbon and a sentiment around the middle of the bottle and viola!! I did plan to colour the skewers and add some foliage but I was too excited to share with you!
So these will sit in my office and welcome any of my visitors and brighten a rather miserable day.
So I hope the rain stops at some point and that you have a lovely weekend.
It is a week till I leave for the cruise, I’m starting to get excited now….
Reveal Friday – Do you wan’t to know my nickname from when I was growing up? It’s Mitchy :0) My family still call me it sometimes and my nephews and nieces all prefer calling me Mitch or Mitchy rather than Aunty Michelle.
