So I’m back from my hols and back to the real world and catching up on washing, ironing and housework. It was wonderful whilst it lasted though and I have lots to share with you including a ton of photos!! I still have my sea legs and feel a little wobbly now that I am off the ship??
The card I made is based on the sketch below and to be honest that banner in the sketch was troubling me, I just found it so hard to incorporate it, so guess what – I didn’t!!
I also flipped the sketch on its side too :0)
I stamped the so very grateful stamp set onto the white label framelit shape and coloured in using an aqua painter. I then cut out the ‘hi’ word using the die which says ‘hi’ from the same framelits die pack and added some patterned paper behind it to make it stand out!
I did the same on the inside too by stamping and colouring and then lined the inside with some coordinating patterned paper from the brights patterned paper stack.
Lucky for me that I got to meet Sandi on the cruise. She was so lovely and let me leaf through her copy of the new catalogue coming out in the UK on 1st July! I did not see Lee though, which was such a shame as I would have loved to say hi and I very much hope to meet Amy and Lee on a future trip. Pop on over to their blogs to see what they made with this week –

Beautiful card! Great colors and neat die cut with the designer paper peeking through. Fabulous!
oh Michelle, how adorable, I love the layers, super cool use of the die cut, and it was so very nice to meet you in person on the Stampin Up Cruise last week!….hugs to you all the way over there! Hope you are caught up on your sleep, I’m still working on it.
Great job on this sketch Michelle. Love the colors and dsp and coloring to marry it all together. Love it!
I kept looking for you on the cruise and never saw you either. We’ve got to make a point of it next time! Hope you had fun!!!
