I used something brand new for today’s sketch challenge. I have the Friends Who Know stamp which had been uninked until now and the sentiment made me giggle so off I went to Pinterest to check out my colour inspiration board to get me started.
I wanted to use the I love lace background stamp and stamped onto whisper white with smoky slate ink and I inked the edges too. I then stamped the friends single stamp in daffodil delight and used the label framelits to cut around it. I also stamped it again in bermuda bay and pool party and cut out the specific sentiments and layered them over the yellow to make them stand out.
For some reason the tag talk diagonal striped stamp was talking to me and insisting I use it on the card too so I simply snipped it in half and added it as the accent on the top left as seen on the sketch below…
and a few buttons in the matching shades finished it off and gave the card some dimension.
Shall we pop on over to see what the other talented ladies have made?
