It was my great nephews Christening a week or so ago and I wanted to make a cute gift box for his Christening gift. I used the zoo babies stamp set and the kraft gift boxes from Stampin Up and decorated it with striped ribbon.
I made the card to fit inside the box and so that the elephant would show through the aperture. It was easy to make it perfect for a boy by adding a blue ear and flower and I really like how the striped ribbon sets off the colour of the box. I have listed the products I used in the images at the bottom of this post, simply click the images if you want to go to my shop and place an order for your own supplies.
I was also asked for measurement on how to make the slider card I shared yesterday in my stamping&blogging sketch card from yesterday. So I quickly drew up a guide with the measurements and hope that it helps you. I used a standard card blank and mat and the pieces on the image below are the two pieces needed to make the slider mechanism. Once cut and stamped you simply stick the bottom of the tag to the underside of the 1cm scored section on the card front. Trim off the side strips if you use the scalloped tag topper punch and use a circle punch to punch out a semicircle from the top.
Hope that helps but please get in touch if you need me….
