Endless Wishes Christmas card using a sketch from Stamping&Blogging

September 3, 2014 By Michelle Last

I made a Christmas card with the new Endless Wishes set from Stampin’ Up!  It is an adorable snowflake stamp set with perfect interchangeable sentiments and it literally took minutes to put this card together!
Endless WIshes Snowflake stamps from Stampin' up!

I heat embossed the snowflakes using Pool Party, Silver and White Embossing powder and then added the All is Calm Washi tape and stamped the sentiment over the top in Black Stazon.

It is such a beautiful sunny Autumn day here today I struggled to photograph my sample and to really show you the colours of the embossing but perhaps this image is better….
endless wishes snowflake christmas card

It is so delicate, like real snowflakes!  I added a final flourish with some Frosted Sequins and added a rhinestone in the centre as I did not like seeing the little hole in the sequin.  A little fancy mounting and corner rounding and it was done….. I think I have found my Christmas card design for this year now all I need to do is make them.

Here is the sketch we used this week –

I amy have found my Christmas card too Michelle! This is so lovely! Mind if I case it?

How do you emboss the colors separately? I think this card is so pretty. Do you stamp one certain snowflake and then emboss just the silver on that snowflake? and then the next color? Is there a video showing this technique? So happy to find your blog.

Do you know Geann, it is the first time I have tried embossing on the same project with different colours and it was so easy. I stamped all the snowflakes I wanted to be in pool party and heat set those, then stamped and embossed the next colour and so on, I was worried that the powder may stick to the previous snowflake but they didn’t there was no cross contamination! I have had my sister making another 40 of these and it was a breeze! No video at the moment but if I get a moment I will make one next week, it is simple though, try it! xx PS I am glad you found me too!

How about some Cactus Cuties to brighten someone’s day? I love how the little step makes the plants stand out from the embossed brick background. I loved making this card and adding a sponge edge to the cactus for extra depth and dimension. All supplies are from my Stampin Up shop, let me know if I can help x

This wonderful group of Dutch Stampin’ Up demos This wonderful group of Dutch Stampin’ Up demos are truly wonderful. I’ve spent the last three days spending time with them, getting to know them better and meeting some for the first time. They are the most warm, friendly and welcoming bunch and it has been the best feeling to gather together in person with them after so long. Spending time with crafters, customers and demonstrators is the best part of my job and I have friends from all over the world.
