I made a sympathy card today using the Bloom with Hope hostess stamp set.
Sympathy cards are always difficult to make and I think simple is best. I coloured the beautiful flower image with my Rich Razzleberry Blendabilities and added some embossing and cotton ribbon along with some linen thread.
It has been a while since I used the delicate designs embossing folder but it adds some dimension and interest when a card is really simple.
And I said I would report back on our adventure to London on Saturday. My sister and I took my parents to London for lunch at Simpsons in the Strand. It was a very grand affair and a lovely treat which means I have Birthdays, Fathers Day/Mothers Day all sewn up! My Grandad used to take my dad here in years gone by and it had been a while since he had visited and it was lovely to share that memory with him.
It is my favourite kind of day today, I love Autumn and love bright crisp days and today is just glorious. I so enjoyed taking my little Pip out for a wander at lunchtime. Hope you have a great day too.
Love it , BEAUITIFUL !!
